iTunes 10.5 Released For Windows & Mac [Download Links]

iTunes-10Yes, you guessed it! iTunes 10.5 final version has been upped for download in preparation for the new iPhone, iPod Touch devices, iOS 5 and iCloud.

    • Automatic Downloads. Purchase music from any device or computer and automatically download a copy to your PC and iOS devices.
    • Download Previous Purchases. Download your past music, TV, app, and book purchases again, at no additional cost. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they are no longer on the iTunes Store.
  • Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5.
  • Wi-Fi Syncing. Automatically sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes any time they’re both on the same Wi-Fi network.

Apple has released iTunes 10.5 Beta 9 version which is supposed to be the last of the iTunes 10.5 seeds as the final version is going to be released very soon. For Devs who would like to try it our for themselves, please follow this guide to download and install iTunes.

Release Notes & Known Errors:

-“Scan and match” feature is not yet complete.
-Some tracks on your PC may not be recognized by iTunes Match even if the tracks are available in the iTunes Store, and those tracks will be uploaded to the users’ iCloud storage.
-Some tracks may also be mis-matched to a different version of the same song on the iTunes Store.
- Music can only be added to iCloud from one computer at a time.
- Updating an iOS device to iOS 5 beta 7 may result in music failing to play. Users should turn off iTunes Match in settings and then turn it back on to restore functionality.

iTunes 10.5 Beta 6 Release for Registered Apple Developers

iOS 5 Beta 6 has been released but in order to sync iDevices having iOS 5 Beta 6, you’ll need iTunes 10.5 Beta 6 which is also, only available to registered Apple developers.

This release can be downloaded legally by registered Apple developers. Membership for Apple developer’s account can be attained with a fee of $99. By being a legal member, you can get your hands on pre-released iOS versions, developer’s tools and documentation. The subscription to these accounts can be gotten by Apple developer website for minimal charges of $99. We strongly recommend our readers to get their iTunes app legally in order to be on the safe side.
